Like many amateur radio societies and clubs, we chose to affiliate with the Radio Society of Great Britain because we see club affiliation as an effective way of demonstrating our support for the aims and aspirations of the National Society.

The RSGB recognises that much of the vitality of amateur radio lies within clubs like ours and our goal to advance amateur radio.

SOTA is an award scheme for radio amateurs that encourages portable operation in high or mountainous areas.

POTA is an activity in amateur radio that combines outdoor exploration with radio communication. Participants set up temporary stations in designated parks, enjoying nature while making contacts with other radio enthusiasts.
